Adams, Michael R.

Michael A. Adams earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Ferris State University. Mr. Adams went on to attend Thomas M. Cooley Law School and completed his Juris Doctor with a concentration in Litigation. After graduating he was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and The Florida Bar.Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Adams served five years in the United States Marine Corps serving in the initial wave of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While in law school Mr. Adams served as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association.

Mr. Adams began his legal career as a volunteer Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During that time, Mr. Adams was responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor cases and all motions, hearings, and trials related to his cases. Mr. Adams continued his career by opening his own practice with a focus in criminal and family law.

Michael Adams is an Associate Attorney at KEL. Mr. Adams works in the area of foreclosure defense and utilizes his prior litigation experience to serve the specific needs of his clients.
