Barrilleaux, Blaine James

Michelle M. Barrette founded the Law Office of Sivertson and Barrette, PA. with her husband and law partner, Alf Sivertson, in 1981. For over 30 years, Michelle has represented clients in the areas of employment law, probate and estate administration, and estate planning.  In addition, Michelle is a lobbyist and advocate for clients at the Minnesota Legislature.

Growing up on the Eastside of Saint Paul with hard working, labor oriented neighbors and friends, Michelle developed a strong interest in advocating for the rights of working men and women. Michelle thrives in “David and Goliath” actions against large and powerful employers and is a fierce advocate for her clients.

Michelle is a respected member of the legal community and has been a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars.
