Daniel E. Bright is a 1978 graduate of Allegheny College where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He studied law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (J.D., 1981) and The Dickinson School of Law (L.L.M., 1991, Taxation and Commerce). He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1981. Mr. Bright served on active duty in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General Corps from 1981 to 1984 and was a staff attorney and senior staff attorney in Albany, New York and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for The Ayco Corporation, then a subsidiary of American Express, from 1984 to 1987. Mr. Bright represents many individuals and small businesses in and around State College, Pennsylvania. Among Mr. Bright's clients are businesses, local and regional banks and exempt organizations, with an emphasis on gift planning for such organizations. Mr. Bright is also solicitor for both the Centre and Mifflin County Solid Waste Authorities.
