Dr. Irina Britva specializes in domestic and foreign patent prosecution, with an emphasis on small molecule pharmaceuticals and medicinal chemistry.
Prior to entering the legal arena, Irina worked as a scientist for eight years at Odessa University in Ukraine. Her area of scientific expertise is in the field of immunopharmacological screening of libraries of chemical compounds, such as crown ethers, porphyrines, fluorenones, and investigation of the biochemical mechanisms of their immunomodulatory activity.
Irina has authored several scientific publications relating to the fields of immunopharmacology and biochemistry. She is a member of the San Diego Intellectual Property Law Association.
