Hesh Parlikad focuses his practice on client counseling and litigation concerning securities, derivatives, and other complex financial products such as credit default swaps and collateral debt obligations. Hesh has specific experience dealing with cross-border issues arising from claims based on the U.S. securities laws against foreign issuers. In this regard, he was involved in advising Tech Mahindra on the U.S. securities laws implications of its successful acquisition of India-based, NYSE-listed, Satyam Computer Services Ltd.

Prior to starting at Jones Day's New York Office in September 2008, Hesh spent several months in the Firm's Sydney Office. During this time he worked on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and was involved in representing Multi-Color Corporation in its successful acquisition of Collotype International Holdings, an Australian-based multinational wine and spirits labeling company.
