Vinh H. Pham, a registered patent attorney, primarily practices patent litigation. He has worked on matters involving software, computer and integrated circuit architecture, video signal processing, mobile phones, and business methods. His representation of Matsushita in a case involving DVD technologies resulted in a favorable settlement for the client.
Mr. Pham is thoroughly experienced with pre-litigation investigations, counseling, and all aspects of pre-trial practices, including case management, motion and deposition practices.
On the pro bono front, Mr. Pham has successfully represented an asylum seeker in immigration court. He is currently representing a low-income senior citizen in a consumer protection case through the Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto.
Before law school, Mr. Pham worked as a software engineer for Microsoft Corporation. While in law school, he worked as an extern for Magistrate Judge Howard R. Lloyd of the Northern District of California, and was a member of the Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal.
