ROBERT J. FORREST has been an attorney in Massachusetts for over thirty-five years. He has served as a Clerk-Magistrate in the district courts and has tried hundreds of cases. He is certified as a police officer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He currently is the police prosecutor for a police department in New Hampshire. He has extensive experience in law enforcement matters and firearms licensing issues. He holds a federal firearms dealer's license for both machine guns and conventional weapons. He is a Massachussets State Police and NRA certified firearms instructor. He has extensive experience in international law and trade having represented clients and developed business in Russia, Europe and the Far East. He has negotiated many international joint venture agreements and contracts between American and British business entities and manufacturing companies in Europe, Russia and the Far East. He is fluent in the Russian Language.

Attorney Forrest is a commercial airplane pilot with multi-engine, instrument and glider ratings with over 1,500 hours of flight experience. He has tried pilot and aviation mechanic cases before the National Transportation Safety Board in Washington, D.C., Boston and Europe.

Attorney Forrest holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Northeastern University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Boston College Law School. He has been an instructor in federal taxation at Northeastern University and is currently an adjunct professor of law at The Massachusetts School of Law.

Attorney Forrest is a licensed firearms dealer. He is licensed to deal in conventional weapons for sporting purposes and self defense as well as military and law enforcement weapons including machine guns and silencers. He has represented other federally licensed dealers in negotiations and hearings with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) on license revocations and denials, registration issues and tax issues including assistance with initial applications and renewals.
