John Poffenberger is Of Counsel to Wood, Herron & Evans and is involved in all phases of the firm's intellectual property practice. Admitted to the Ohio, Virginia and District of Columbia bar in 1961, John is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. John joined Wood, Herron & Evans in 1961 and his legal expertise is focused upon the business aspects of intellectual property law.
John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1957. He received his law degree from The George Washington University National Law Center in 1961.
John is an active member of the American and Cincinnati Bar Associations and the Cincinnati Intellectual Property Law Association. He resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife Nancy.
