Jerome L. Froimson has practiced in the field of labor and employment law since 1959. Mr. Froimson was a legal assistant to the Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board during 1958-59, and began his private practice in Phoenix, Arizona immediately thereafter. Mr. Froimson also has represented both individual employees and employers in matters of employment discrimination, wrongful discharge and employment contract and other employment disputes. Mr. Froimson has represented numerous employers in labor and employment matters, including those before the National Labor Relations Board, Fair Labor Standards Act matters and Service Contract Act matters before the U.S. Department of Labor and the United States District Court.
Mr. Froimson was Chairman of the Labor Law Section of the Arizona Bar in 1981-82, having previously served in various other capacities in that Section. He is an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, an association of lawyers representing plaintiffs in a variety of employment law matters. He has also been active with the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, and served for many years on the Labor Standards Committee of that Section, participating in writing the annual reports of the Section.
Although a sole practitioner, Mr. Froimson is able to provide high quality service in his specialty areas equivalent to that provided by the largest firms. Where indicated in larger and more complex matters, Mr. Froimson associates other highly-qualified attorneys, with whom he has worked for many years, to assist in the preparation and trial of cases.
