Seth Ragosta is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. He joined the firm in 2008. Mr. Ragosta focuses on complex commercial litigation and investigations/criminal representation.
Practice
Since joining the firm, Mr. Ragosta has represented public and private companies in a wide variety of civil matters before state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. In addition, Mr. Ragosta served as a special assistant district attorney in the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office from May through November 2011, where he prosecuted 11 jury and bench trials to verdict in the Malden District Court.
Past Experience
During law school, Mr. Ragosta was a summer associate at another firm in Boston, where he researched issues involving labor, employment, fund building and intellectual property litigation. Prior to beginning his legal studies, Mr. Ragosta was a legal assistant and paralegal at a firm where he researched legal issues and assisted in case and presentation preparation and marketing for the Harshbarger Governance practice. In law school, Mr. Ragosta was president of the Virginia Employment and Labor Law Association (VELLA) and spent a year working for the Lynchburg Commonwealth Attorney’s Office as part of the UVa Law Prosecution Clinic.
