Foutz, Tyler S.

Tyler S. Foutz practices in areas including commercial litigation, construction law, real estate litigation and transactions, landlord/tenant disputes and family law. His clients include contractors, subcontractors, real estate agents, automobile dealerships, small businesses and individuals in these areas of law. Tyler also represents individuals going through divorce and child custody disputes. Tyler has been involved in appellate work in both State and Federal court, as well as mediation and arbitration.

Prior to joining OSN, Tyler was a litigation associate for the Park City law firm of Wrona Law Offices from 2005 to 2008. Tyler is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Utah. He is a member of the Litigation Construction and Family Law sections of the Utah State Bar.

Education

After taking classes at the University of Oregon and BYU-Hawaii, Tyler Foutz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Utah in 2001. he returned to Oregon to complete his legal education, where he graduated from teh University of Oregon School of Law in 2005. During law school, Tyler served as an editor for the Oregon Law Review. In addition, he worked for two years as a law clerk with the litigation section of Hutchinson, Cox, Coons, DuPriest, Orr & Sherlock. Tyler also spent a summer as a law clerk for teh United States Department of Justice Environmental and Natural Resources Division in Denver, Colorado, where he was involved in representing the Federal Government in issues pertaining to timber sales, land use and compliance.

Mr. Foutz was raised in Grants Pass, Oregon, where he graduated high school. He and his wife have three children. Tyler’s favorite past times include camping, hiking and mountain biking with his family.
