Friel, Bernard P.

Andrew M. Porter serves as Of Counsel of Todd & Weld LLP. He has over twenty years of experience practicing law in the areas of family and probate law, business representation, business litigation, and collection law. Mr. Porter is known for his effective and fair representation of his clients. He has litigated cases in the Massachusetts State and Federal Courts. He has also appeared on numerous occasions before the Massachusetts Appellate courts.

Mr. Porter currently serves as counsel to the Boards of Directors for several companies and corporations and represents many business entities on matters of law.

Mr. Porter graduated from Case Western University School of Law in 1988, where he received his Juris Doctor degree. He graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1985 and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Boston Bar Association.

Mr. Porter is currently an elected member of the Holliston Board of Selectmen and has served continuously in that position since 1999, having been elected its Chairman in 2001, 2004 and 2007. He has also served as an elected member of the Holliston Finance Committee and was a long term member of Holliston's Golf Course Advisory Committee.

From 2004-2005 and again in 2007-2008, Mr. Porter served as the co-chair of the 495 Corridor Partnership, a collaborative organization consisting of various business entities and over 30 cities and towns in Massachusetts.

Mr. Porter currently serves as the Chairman and as a board member of Celebrate Holliston and has been a member of the Holliston Lions Club continuously since 1995. He also works closely with a number of non-profit groups and charities throughout Metro West Boston.
