Lisamaria T. Proscino is a Partner at Lucibello & Proscino, LLP. She is admitted to practice before the Connecticut State Courts. Attorney Proscino primarily practices in the areas of criminal defense, divorce and family law and personal injury law. As part of her family law practice, she provides legal advice on family law matters related to marriage, divorce, civil unions, prenuptial agreements, custody, adoption, and termination of parental rights. Attorney Proscino is also certified to accept appointments as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) and Attorney for the Minor Child (AMC) by the Connecticut courts. As part of her criminal defense practice, she represents individuals in criminal matters and related regulatory proceedings in state and administrative courts. Attorney Proscino’s practice also includes the full scope of personal injury practice, including motor vehicle, premise liability and product’s liability.
Prior to founding Lucibello & Proscino, LLP, Attorney Proscino served as a courtroom clerk to the criminal and family judges in the New Haven Judicial District. In this capacity, Attorney Proscino worked extensively with numerous superior court judges on criminal cases, a position which required her to be knowledgeable of the laws and regulations relating to both criminal procedure and criminal practice. She also received firsthand observation of and insight into a variety of family matters, and assisted with the preparation of restraining orders and divorce paperwork, experience that proves valuable to her family law clients. She is proud to apply the knowledge and experience gained from this extensive courtroom observation, and involvement in proceedings, to the representation of her clients.
Attorney Proscino graduated from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2009. While in law school, she was an academic scholarship recipient and also was a member of Phi Alpha Delta. She graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. As a student at Quinnipiac University, Attorney Proscino was on the dean’s list every year and was a member of Lambda Epsilon Chi, the national honor society for legal studies students.
Attorney Proscino's work has been recognized by the publication “Super Lawyers,” in which she was named to the 2012 New England Rising Stars list, as well as the 2012 Connecticut Rising Stars list.
Attorney Proscino is involved with National, State, and local Bar Associations such as the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Hartford Bar Association, New Haven Bar Association, and Milford Bar Association. She also serves on the Executive Board of the New Haven Young Lawyers, a section of the New Haven County Bar Association, as Secretary.
