Gasparri, Angelo Anthony

Daniel L. Radke has been practicing law for 38 years in his hometown of St. Joseph, Missouri.  He received his undergraduate degree from Missouri Western State University (B.A. Political Science, summa cum laude, 1972).  He received his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law at Columbia (Juris Doctorate, 1975).  He graduated from the prestigious National Institute of Trial Advocacy conducted at Northwestern University Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 1978.  In 1992, he received extensive and in-depth training in the area of mediation.

Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Radke worked as a staff attorney with Legal Aid of Western Missouri.  During his time with Legal Aid, he was instrumental in establishing a legal aid branch office in St. Joseph, Missouri.  He then served as its managing attorney until he resigned to enter private practice in 1979.  He has been a part-time professor at Missouri Western State University since 1988, teaching classes in government, constitutional law, business law and insurance law.  He has worked as a part-time Special Public Defender in northwest Missouri since 1979.

Mr. Radke has extensive trial experience in both criminal and civil law.  He has litigated criminal cases ranging from traffic offenses to first degree murder.  He has litigated in all areas of civil law; however, his practice is currently focused on domestic relations (family law); business litigation; administrative law; contract disputes; governmental law; real estate; probate matters; and appellate practice.  He is also a mediator and has mediated numerous cases in the area of family law (e.g., divorce, child custody, child support, etc.) since 1992. Mr. Radke has also argued cases in Missouri’s appellate court system, including in front of the Missouri Supreme Court.
He is a member of the St. Joseph Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, and he is licensed to practice in all Missouri courts as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Radke was raised in St. Joseph, Missouri and is proud to call this community home.  He raised his own family here in St. Joseph.  He has four children and 11 grandchildren. He is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, having served in Vietnam as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army.  He was honorably discharged in 1969.  
 
Mr. Radke has been a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Joseph Mental Health Association and of Creative Arts Productions, which is a children's theatre organization.  He has been a member and President of the Board of Directors of Progressive Community Services of Buchanan County, Missouri, which is an agency that provides services to persons with disabilities in Buchanan County, Missouri.  He has also been a member and President of the St. Joseph Southside Rotary Club.

In 2006, Mr. Radke had the privilege of running for circuit judge of Buchanan County, Missouri.
