Ms. Hendrix moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1990 and has been a resident of Northeast Florida for over 20 years. Mrs. Hendrix received her undergraduate degree from Jacksonville University, graduating Magna cum laude. In 1999 Ms. Hendrix was accepted into Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in only two and a half years. Upon graduation Ms. Hendrix has worked as an Assistant State Attorney in Volusia County, practiced Insurance Defense representing various insurance companies, and has practice in the area of family law since opening her own practice in 2004.
Ms. Hendrix represents clients throughout Northeast Florida, including Clay, Duval, Nassau, St. Johns, Putnam, Bradford and Baker counties, on all aspects of divorce and family law issues such as child support, alimony, modifications, enforcement issues, military dissolutions, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDRO), Qualified Military Relations Orders (QMRO), paternity issues, equitable distribution of complex assets, contested child custody disputes, domestic violence matters, and various criminal matters.
Ms. Hendrix received The Honorable Lamar Winegart, Jr., Pro Bono Service Award in 2010 for her pro bono legal work in the community.
Ms. Hendrix is a member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, the Clay County Bar Association (currently serving as an of officer the bar), and the St. Johns County Bar Association. Ms. Hendrix is also a member of the Florida Family Law Inns of Court and serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Nurturing Center.
