April was born in Pasadena, CA and was admitted to the Bar of the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California, in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science degree (magna cum laude) in Business Administration with a concentration in Investments Finance from the University of Southern California in 2006. In 2009, April received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where she was a member of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. April also served as an extern for the Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew of the United States District Court, Central District of California, as well as the Honorable Peter D. Lichtman of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Complex Civil Litigation. April's practice is focused on the areas of product liability and complex tort litigation. She is fluent in Cantonese.
