Darryl R. Slimak was born and raised in a small town in western Pennsylvania and went on to become a summa cum laude graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and graduated with cum laude honors from The Dickinson School of Law. At Dickinson, he was an editor of the Law Review and was accepted into the Order of Woolsack Honor Society. Mr. Slimak was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1984 and also practices before the United States District Court for the Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Slimak has served on the Lawyer's Advisory Committee to the Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Centre County Bar Association for which he served as the secretary for two years. He also served for several years as the Secretary/Treasurer and Vice-President of the Wilkinson-Campbell Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
Mr. Slimak's primary legal practice covers a 2-1/2 hour range from State College. Darryl's practice of law, as well as his personal life, is deeply involved in the field of medicine.
