CHRIS STILL is a Partner in the firm’s energy practice area.  His practice involves the representation of energy and public utility companies in a broad array of transaction and regulatory matters.  His areas of practice include:
 
- Mergers and acquisitions involving electric generating facilities  
- Negotiation and development of electricity purchase and sale contracts for independent power producers and utilities, including tolling agreements, contracts for full requirements electric service and retail service contracts 
- Renewable energy projects, including development activities and the purchase and sale of capacity, energy and environmental attributes from such projects 
- Proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, including rate filings under Sections 205 and 206 of the Federal Power Act, complaint proceedings, rulemaking proceedings and other policy initiatives, cost-based and market-based rate issues, and Open Access Transmission Tariff issues   
- Generator access and interconnection agreements, including related proceedings at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission 
- Nuclear energy transactions, including joint development agreements and power purchase contracts
