Ms. Toner focuses her practice in the corporate practice area. She counsels clients with respect to the formation of business entities, changes and management of contractual relationships, asset and stock acquisitions and dispositions, mergers and other fundamental business changes. Ms. Toner has negotiated and drafted a variety of commercial contracts, including asset purchase agreements, marketing agreements, services agreements and consulting agreements. Additionally, Ms. Toner streamlined the tariff-drafting process of a major pipeline company by auditing and standardizing the general terms and conditions of various existing documents into a template for use in various jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Lathrop & Gage, Ms. Toner served as a law clerk to the Honorable John W. Lungstrum, U.S. District Judge for the District of Kansas.
