Lillibridge Burns, Kari A.

Mr. Lewis earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts (1981) and obtained a Diploma from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (1995). He received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut (1976). Mr. Lewis is a member of the Hartford County, Connecticut and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He has lectured at Quinnipiac University, Morse School of Business and the People's Law School. He is former counsel to the Connecticut Psychological Association and the Connecticut Optometric Associations. Attorney Lewis has tried countless cases to fruition, including wrongful deaths and medical malpractice claims, and he was one of the plaintiffs' lawyers in TWA Flight 800.

Mr. Lewis is actively involved in his community. He is President of the Trinity Club of Hartford, and Vice President and Secretary of Congregation Beth Israel, one of the largest Reform Jewish Synagogue's in New England. He chairs its Cemetery Committee, which requires him to be intellectually serious and emotionally sensitive. Mr. Lewis is an avid road cyclist and mountain biker. He holds memberships in the Connecticut Bicycle Coalition and the New England Mountain Bike Association. Mr. Lewis has been trained as a first responder and was formerly a member of the New Mountain Bike Patrol, a first aid response program for mountain bikers who are injured on the trail. He is a former Commissioner of the Natural Resource Commission for the Town of Avon and was instrumental in his town's adopting and constructing a Rails-to-Trails project. Prior to commencing his law career Attorney Lewis worked for Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford, Connecticut and Boston, Massachusetts and was trained in adjusting.

Mr. Lewis is married to his wife, Heidi, who is also an attorney. They have two children.
