Locey, Christopher M

I grew up in the Central Valley and moved to Davis to attend college at UC Davis. I fell in love with Yolo County and have lived here ever since, continuing with law school at UC Davis School of Law and beginning my practice with Legal Service of Northern California in Woodland. Upon graduation from law school, I received a two-year Equal Justice Works fellowship sponsored by Legal Services of Northern California and Morrison Foerster to provide community legal education workshops and clinics throughout Yolo County, including the Capay Valley and other rural communities.  Throughout my fellowship, I also provided general legal services to members of our community in the greatest need.  After my fellowship, I continued at LSNC as the coordinator and staff attorney of the Information & Assistance Program, Senior Link of Yolo County, assisting seniors in the county in need of legal and social services assistance.  I left Legal Services at the end of 2011 to establish my own practice focusing on estate planning.  The goal of my practice is to continue to improve our community by helping clients create estate plans that fit their and their family’s needs.  I continue to live in Davis with my husband, son and our two dogs, enjoying walks on the greenbelt, attending the Davis Farmers Market, and eating all the amazing local produce the Capay Valley grows year round.
