Tanya D. McAdams is an associate with the Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group at Barrett & Farahany, LLP.
Before entering the legal profession, Tanya spent ten years as an in-house recruiter for an international manufacturing company based in Georgia. As a recruiter, she was a dedicated employee advocate, and consequently, Tanya cultivated an interest in labor and employment law.
Tanya graduated magna cum laude and as the Valedictorian of her law class from John Marshall Law School in 2010. During her tenure, Tanya received the prestigious Salomon Prize for her academic performance, served as an executive editor for the school's law journal, and worked as a research assistant. She also earned CALI awards for the highest course grade in seven subject areas. Additionally, Tanya completed a judicial internship in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Prior to joining Barrett & Farahany, Tanya practiced at a small general litigation firm. She is a Georgia native and is married to Joseph McAdams. In her spare time, Tanya paints murals and enjoys playing the piano and reading.
