Michael Young was born on December 19, 1940 in Santa Monica, California. He received a Bachelor of Arts from ULCA in 1962 and earned a J.D. degree from Hastings College of Law in 1966. Michael was admitted to the California Bar Association on December 23, 1966. He served in the United States Army from September 1966 until 1968 and spent these years in Germany defending servicemen in the military courts. In 1970, Michael returned to California and served as Deputy District Attorney in Kern County until 1972 when he was hired as an Associate Attorney at the Law Firm of Young & Wooldridge. In 2000, Michael started his present firm, the Law Offices of Young & Nichols. Areas of practice have always included; personal injury, probate, estate planning and miscellaneous business matters.
