Neathery, Roger L.

Cory L. Myers is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property Department. He joined the firm in 2007.

Practice

Mr. Myers' practice concentrates on patent law and intellectual property. He has assisted and observed in the prosecution of patent applications and drafted client letters detailing Office Action received from the Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to his legal studies, Mr. Myers held a variety of engineering and software testing positions, including:

• Tester and Engineer at IBM Corp: Developed test cases for video content management software, test IBM HTTP and WebSphere Application Server, and developed fixes for network problems in a VMS environment
• Engineering Intern at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory: Developed computer program to analyze digital signal processing techniques
• Engineering Intern at National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA): Participated in the development and manufacture of space flight circuitry

Professional Activities

Mr. Myers is the Vice Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Community Outreach Standing Committee for the DC Bar.
