Nightingale, Zachary M.

Will Nelson attended undergraduate school at the University of California, Los Angeles earning degrees in both Political Science and History.  During his tenure at UCLA, Mr. Nelson served as chairman of the John Wooden Center Board of Governors.  Mr. Nelson attended the University of San Diego School of Law where he earned highest marks in European Economic Community Law and Advanced Trial Skills.  While at the University of San Diego, Mr. Nelson served as chairman of the Dean's Advisory Council.  Mr. Nelson received the Distinguished Service Award from the School of Law at graduation in 1994. 

Will Nelson has a diverse legal background including service as a state prosecutor, as a public defender and in private practice in both Florida and California.  Mr. Nelson has both prosecuted and defended cases in courts every county in Florida's First Judicial Circuit.  During his tenure with the Office of the State Attorney , Will Nelson served as a special prosecutor handling high profile and complex cases and as the supervising felony prosecutor in the Santa Rosa County division of the Office of the State Attorney.

While in private practice in California, Mr. Nelson worked as the senior attorney for the Law Offices of Lawrence Taylor based in Long Beach, California.  In addition to representing clients in several hundred DUI cases in courts throughout Southern California, Mr. Nelson also defended his clients in hundreds of administrative hearings before the hearing officers of the California Department of Motor Vehicles.

Mr. Nelson has also represented clients in various family law cases (including divorce, child custody, child support, dependency and paternity actions) in courts throughout Florida's First Judicial Circuit.
