Ms. Patel is a partner/shareholder in the firm of Pronske & Patel, P.C. and specializes in business bankruptcy, reorganization and restructuring. Ms. Patel has represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, equity holders, trustees and committees in chapter 11 reorganizations and chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings, in addition to representing various parties in out-of-court restructurings and/or liquidations and serving as counsel in bankruptcy related litigation, including preference, fraudulent transfer, discharge, dischargeability and state law based actions.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Prior to co-founding Pronske & Patel, Ms. Patel worked the Dallas office of a large, international law firm. She was a law clerk for the Honorable Harlin D. "Cooter" Hale, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas, from November 2002 to July 2003 and also for the Honorable Robert C. McGuire, former Chief Judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, from August 2001 to October 2002.
