Platt, Michael A.

Ashley L. Cunliffe was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and raised in Ocean County. For her undergraduate education, Ms. Cunliffe attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, where she was an Eagleton Institute of Politics Undergraduate Associate. Ashley graduated from Rutgers University in 2007, with Honors, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Ms. Cunliffe obtained her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law – Camden in 2010. During her studies, Ashley participated in the prestigious Honorable James Hunter III Advanced Moot Court Competition, where she and her partner were Octo-Finalists, from an original pool of 76 teams. In her final year at Rutgers Camden, Ashley had the honor of being selected by her peers to serve as Chairman of the Hunter Moot Court Board, while also serving as a teaching assistant in the Competition’s accompanying Appellate Advocacy course.

Prior to joining the firm, Ashley served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Gary D. Wodlinger, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Cumberland and Salem Counties. During her clerkship, Ms. Cunliffe had significant exposure to each Family Part docket type. She gained expertise in areas such as custody and child support, as well as in more complex areas of practice such as DYFS litigation and juvenile delinquency proceedings.

Ashley is admitted to practice law in both the state and federal courts of New Jersey.
