Daniel P. DeBolt has been representing public sector unions, primarily those representing firefighters, law enforcement personnel and correctional officers, since becoming an attorney in 2004. Daniel's intent to become a union attorney, however, formed long before that. After high school, he attended Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, where he initially became interested in the history of the labor movement and developed a strong admiration for those who had literally risked life and limb to advance the interests of working men and women. Almost immediately, Daniel decided to attend law school and become a labor attorney.

During law school, Daniel worked for a firm in Washington, D.C., Bredoff & Kaiser, PLLC, which represented both public and private sector unions throughout the country. He also began his association with Trevett Cristo (then called Trevett Lenweaver & Salzer), working as a summer associate after his first year of law school. As one of the few firms in the Rochester area which represented unions, it was a natural fit. He returned to Trevett after graduating from law school, and since that time has represented public sector unions throughout Monroe County and surrounding counties.

Together with his partner, Larry Andolina, they represent unions of police officers, deputy sheriffs, corrections officers and firefighters, as well as other public employees. They represent unions ranging in size from less than a dozen members to those with memberships of several hundred, and they take pride in tailoring their services to the needs of each union.

Daniel has represented unions in negotiations, mediations, interest arbitrations, grievance arbitrations, administrative proceedings before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, and civil litigation in both State and Federal Courts.
