Sue Rempert graduated from Indiana University School of Law summa cum laude and was admitted to the Indiana bar in 1984. Sue's areas of legal practice include personal injury, products liability, premises liability, trucking litigation, road design, and railroad litigation. She has handled all phases of law suits from the claim stage through discovery, trial, and appeal. Sue has tried a variety of cases concerning vehicular accidents, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
Sue is a member of the Indiana State and Indianapolis Bar Associations, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. She has written articles on developments in tort litigation and practice for the National Business Institute and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum. Sue has taught trial advocacy skills at numerous seminars for Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum and lectured on transportation, trucking, and railroad litigation. She has also written articles regarding understanding medical injuries, mastering medical concepts for litigation, and dealing with pain and suffering in personal injury cases.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Sue taught special education classes for learning disabled and emotionally challenged students. Sue has a master's degree in education from Rutgers University.
Since 1992, she has served as the Assistant Chancellor for the Diocese of Indianapolis and sits on the Court of Review for Province Five of the Episcopalian Church in the United States.
She has two grown children and three grandsons. She likes to cook, garden, swim, and boat in her spare time.
