Rubinstein, Eugene M.

Rachel Thomas Rowley is an associate attorney at BrownWinick. Her practice focuses primarily in the litigation and appellate areas. Rachel has represented clients in state and federal court and in various state administrative tribunals. Rachel's litigation work includes business contract disputes, collection matters, probate contests and real estate disputes. Rachel's administrative hearing work includes licensing and campaign finance issues. In addition, Rachel is an appellate attorney having participated in several reported decisions including In re Estate of Sheridan, 117 P.3d 39 (Colo. App. 2004) and Tatum v. Basin Resources, Inc., 141 P.3d 863 (Colo. App. 2005).

Rachel is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Before joining BrownWinick, Rachel was an associate at Burns, Figa & Will, P.C. located in Denver, Colorado. She also interned for Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Leonard Plank during law school and upon graduation worked as a judicial clerk for Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Arthur P. Roy.

Rachel graduated from Iowa State University in 1999, receiving her B.M., with high distinction, in Music Education and was a member of the Mortar Board Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She received her J.D. in 2002 from the University of Denver College of Law.

Rachel graduated from law school Order of St. Ives. She earned a number of academic awards during law school, including an award for highest grade in Civil Procedure, Administrative Law, Advanced Trial Practice, Remedies and Criminal Procedure. Rachel was also on the Board of Editors of the Denver Law Review and Preventive Law Reporter. During law school, Rachel published two articles concerning civil procedure and school law.

Rachel is a member of the Iowa State, Polk County, American, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. Rachel was admitted to the Colorado bar in 2002 and admitted to the Iowa bar in 2008.
