Schaffer, Jennifer B.

Jimmy Sauz is a Registered Patent Attorney who joined Hankin Patent Law as a Registered Patent Agent while still in law school. Jimmy's primary practice area is Patent Prosecution, which allows him to do the work that he enjoys, which is learning new technology, drafting patents, and helping inventors obtain patent protection on their inventions. Jimmy's practice also includes Patent Litigation, Trademark Litigation, Trademark Registration, and other areas of Intellectual Property Law.

Jimmy participated as a member of Loyola's Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Team and served as a Production Editor of Loyola’s Entertainment Law Review. He graduated from Loyola Law School in May of 2012 and previously held a judicial extern position with the Honorable Dolly M. Gee.

Jimmy Sauz has an extensive background in telecommunications and sonar acoustics. He previously worked as an Electrical Engineer for several years at a Fortune 500 aerospace company, and, in that capacity he helped developed various dipping sonar systems and unmanned underwater vehicles.
