Prior to joining Heath-Newton, Sarah worked with various community family law organizations in both Marin and San Mateo Counties providing legal services to the underprivileged. Sarah has deep experience in the areas of complex dissolution, paternity suits, child custody/visitation, support, and domestic violence cases. A member of the California and Florida Bar Associations, Sarah graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law. Sarah graduated cum laude from Peace College in Raleigh, North Carolina and hold a B.A. in liberal arts with a major in Spanish language and Human Resource Management. Sarah remains involved with the community by providing ongoing pro bono representation for asylum seekers in her spare time.
