Kassi Horner is an attorney with Peterson Law Group practicing primarily in the area of family law.  Coming from a close knit family and being the oldest of four children, Kassi appreciates how important family is in our daily lives.  One of the primary reasons she practices family law is to help families during what is likely one of the toughest times in their life.

Kassi Horner was born in Abilene, Texas and graduated from Abilene High School in 1996.  Prior to graduating high school, she lived with her family lived in Honolulu, Hawaii and Bedford, Texas for a few brief years.  After graduating high school, Kassi attended Abilene Christian University and Texas Tech University.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University in 2000.  Taking a few years off from school, Kassi worked for Hilton Hotels Corporation.  Always having aspirations of being a lawyer, she then obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007.

Kassi is actively involved in the community through Junior League of Bryan-College Station.  She serves on the advisory board for the Twin City Mission.  Her other activities include serving on committees through the Chamber of Commerce and American Cancer Society.  She is a member of the Family Law section of the State Bar of Texas. Kassi serves as a managing member of Brazos 1031 Exchange Company, LLC.

Besides practicing law and community involvement, Kassi loves to travel and explore.  She hopes to visit all 50 states. Kassi attends church at A&M Church of Christ.
