Jeff Shultz joined the firm in 1983. His practice emphasizes civil litigation, workers' compensation, and ERISA litigation, with interests in fire subrogations. Clients include self-insured employers and insurers state wide.
Jeff is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, the Second Circuit Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He serves on the State Bar of South Dakota Committee on Administrative Law and is a long-time board member of East River Legal Services. Both The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers U.S.A.'s America's Leading Lawyers for Business have listed Jeff as one of the leading worker's compensation and labor and employment law practitioners in South Dakota.
He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Jeff has lectured annually at the University of South Dakota Law School since 2001 and numerous claims offices regarding workers' compensation issues.
