Hilary Wayne Hunter holds a B.S. from Wofford College and a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina, as well as before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Ms. Hunter’s primary focus involves complex litigation in the firm's Personal Injury and Premises Liability Group. She is an advocate for crime victims on private properties where individuals have been the victim of a criminal assault. She is dedicated to her clients in helping hold these private properties responsible for their negligent security which unfortunately allowed these crimes to occur.
Ms. Hunter is also experienced in matters involving complex business litigation. She has successfully represented her clients in defending bad faith matters. Because she is licensed before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office and has been involved in intellectual property disputes and patent, copyright and trademark infringement suits. Ms. Hunter also has considerable experience in drafting patent applications.
