James W. Sprouse, Jr. (Jimmy), has experience representing clients in commercial litigation, collections, and construction claims throughout the State of North Carolina. Jimmy has litigated lien claims and payment bond claims for suppliers on state and federally owned projects, and recently argued the case of HSI North Carolina, LLC vs. Diversified Fire Protection of Wilmington, Inc., in which the North Carolina Court of Appeals upheld the rights of third-tier suppliers to make payment bond claims on state owned projects. Jimmy also has experience representing creditors during all phases of the collections and litigation process, including after debtors have filed for bankruptcy protection.
