Tande, Matthew M.

Elvin Tabah is an associate at JOSE GARAY, APLC. Elvin graduated from the University of California Riverside in 2009. He received his Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law in May of 2012, and he was admitted to the California Bar in December of 2012.

As a student at the University of California Riverside, Elvin participated in NCAA track and field in the high jump. His accolades from track and field include being an Academic All-American, Regional Qualifier, and receiving All-Conference Big West in 2008. Elvin graduated cum laude from the University of California Riverside in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

As a student at the UCLA School of Law, Elvin was an active member of the Black Law Student Association. In addition, Elvin was a mentor for the law school’s Law Fellows Academic Outreach Program. During law school, Elvin worked as a law clerk for the Riverside Superior Court and the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. In addition, Elvin worked as a legal intern for an employment firm in Santa Monica during his third year of law school.

Before joining JOSE GARAY, APLC as an associate, Elvin worked for a small employment firm in Torrance as a law clerk, and as a law clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. Elvin focuses his practice on employment litigation.

When Elvin is not working, he enjoys reading, working out, writing fictional pieces such as short stories, and spending time with his family.
