Mary Kooistra has lived in Kirkland for over 25 years. She was a Little League softball coach with a championship team. She is active in the Community Supper program run by Kirkland Interfaith Network. Her interests include gardening and needlework. Her clients appreciate her calm and reassuring manner. As one client wrote, "I was still in shock when I first saw you. I am happy to say that I am no longer in a state of shock. The visit with you in your office seemed to put me on an even keel - the surroundings in your office were calming; you treated me with calmness! Therefore, I have been able to get my papers and mindset in order."
