Client Benefits

Ms. Tingley utilizes an aggressive, cost-effective approach to meet the litigation and business objectives of her clients. Whether she successfully resolves matters before a formal action is commenced, or she uses pretrial discovery and motion practice to prompt resolution before trial, she tailors a strategy to meet her clients' needs.  Should a resolution through compromise not be available, she has prevailed in trials, dispositive motions, and other forms of dispute resolution such as arbitration hearings. She is poised to effectively manage the strategies that best serve her clients, be it private resolution to preserve confidentiality or widely publicized disputes that can benefit from newspaper or other media coverage.

Significant Matters

Ms. Tingley's recent litigation matters include the successful representation of a tax shelter investor in a professional malpractice action against a major accounting firm, investment advisor, and law firm; resolution of a multi-county construction dispute against a general contractor and its sureties involving numerous projects; dismissal of felony charges against a public relations consultant accused of bribing a public official; litigating numerous civil disputes involving a national pharmacy, as well as successfully defending its executives during a criminal action.

Community Involvement

Ms. Tingley recently completed her term as the Chair of one of The Florida Bar's Grievance Committees for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.  The Grievance Committee participates in the regulation of the professional conduct of attorneys.  She also lectures on various legal topics to attorneys and other professionals as a speaker at legal education seminars. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and has represented dependent and abused children through the Orange County Legal Aid Society's Guardian Ad Litem Program.  As a member of the Orlando Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Ms. Tingley served on the Committee for CREW Careers to encourage female high school students to become interested in careers in real estate.
