Maura McCarthy Bulman practices in the areas of Consumer Bankruptcy, Commercial & Civil Litigation, Business Law, Business Transactions, Real Property Law, and Landlord-Tenant Law.
Prior to joining Solaris Law Group, P.A., Maura was the managing-member of Maura McCarthy Bulman, P.L., a full service law firm, which provided personal legal counsel and creative solutions for transactional and litigation matters to individuals and small and medium sized businesses in the South Florida area.
After graduating from law school, Maura worked for 3 years at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. as a housing attorney practicing in the areas of landlord-tenant law, consumer bankruptcy law and commercial litigation. Maura also worked for a private law firm in Fort Lauderdale representing consumer debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
Maura is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Maura received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2005 and her B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 2000. Before attending law school, Maura served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in central Jamaica where she received her first business experience creating and operating a grant-funded eco-tourism service from 2000 to 2002.
Maura is a member of the Broward County Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
Maura is a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for the 17th Judicial Circuit of the Florida Guardian ad Litem Program.
